My cousins hunt just up I45 close to Richland Chambers Reservoir. They said its been slow. I'm down around Lexington and its been picking up. But the wind has ruined everything today.

I hunt east of teague. The bucks were split up and cruising last weekend. The doe were acting nervous. One hunter saw a buck running a doe on wed evening. It's about the right time for them to be going nuts. Wish it would have worked out for me to hunt this weekend, but I'll be back after'em next weekend.

Just hunted near FF this morning, and saw two different bucks running hard looking for hot does. Drooling, panting, running...you know like a typical teenage boy.
