I saw an antelope South of Sweetwater a while back. I thought that was pretty unusual. What's the Farthest East any of you have seen one?

Correct. About 15-20 miles north of Bronte. But that was domesticated antelope. I stopped there once to take pictures and about eight came within 20 yards of fence. The big buck kept the distance though. Looked like they came to feed.

I have friends hunting in Childdress this season, new lease to them, they saw a pronghorn opening weekend.I haven't spent any time in that part of the state, but I never would have thought that there were Pronghorn there??
I feel more like I do now then I did when I got here.

about 5 miles or less east of Throckmorton. Big ranch close to Throckmorton gets tags some years. Saw those less than 100 yards off of HWY 380

Would not surprise meat all. Mule deer migrated to Childress area over the years using Palo Duro Canyon.

I wish I could transport all of them off my place

There is still a decent sized herd on the Clark Ranch west of Throckmorton. See them a few times a year.

There are some between Guthrie and Benjamin, kind of between the 6666 and Pitchfork ranches.

Found a deal saying that historically they were as far East as the 97th meridian, which is basically I-35 and as far South as Jim Hog county. Today they are obviously confined to the Trans Pecos and and western panhandle. TPWD shows isolated populations in King, Scurry, and Haskel counties. So seeing one anywhere in that area probably wouldn't be too unusual. I wish we still had them around here.
