Saw the other thread and it got me to thinking.How many hunters on here hunt in Callahan county. I hunt very close to Putnam,Baird,Cisco area.Closest to Putnam not far from the Fillin Station. IF anyone wants to meet up and drink a beer hit me up! TAT

There is a new place in Clyde to eat, it is called Stumpy's. It is on the south side of the Interstate, I think the exit is at 301. It is good enough that we drive there from Abilene. Next door is the Pizza House, also a good eat.

Will be out around Cisco and Moran this weekend, have a lease at both places

I know the pizza place. Its not to bad at all, I havent tried stumpys yet.Also cicsco is down the road from me and I can hit Moran from back roads from the lease. If yall wanna drink a beer let me know.

I just got back from the lease today. What a beat down it was. Not much deer movent lots of yotes and it was pretty warm. Just let me know when you got some free time. I am down there pretty regular. Stopped in cisco today at allsups.Gas is high there!

I will be back out that way again this weekend. Plan on being out Friday, Saturday and perhaps Sunday not sure yet

Try the Little Putt cafe in Putnam next to the Red Barn. New owner. Eat there pretty often.

i was almost out of gas so i had to stop plus i stayed by the highway. I will have to try out that cafe i see it but never get down there just stay at the fillin station.

Strange weekend saw 6 different bucks and 2 yearlings that I think were both button bucks. No does. Was hunting the place in Eastland county and 3 of the bucks would make AR but know ther are some better around there so holding out for a better one. Will hit the palce in Callahan this weekend. it is about 4 miles from Moran. great Pizza in Moran

we have a place in Cisco as well. So far on the game cam is all 1.-2.5 year old bucks and typically 3-6 doe in the picture at all times.
I will be in Cisco this weekend to re-check the cams, I think I may move one of my cams to another feeder.
