This project was halted when a state biologst discovered a federally protected bird nesting in the woods. After the chicks left the nest, work was resumed. This high transmission line runs about 300 yards behind my blind, on the neighboring ranch. Workers are still using the road to complete the project to the windmills about two miles away.
