Who has hunted this place with success and what did you do? We leave tomorrow for a rifle hunt there.

I've been there 3 times on a youth hunt. My son shot his first 2 deer there, both does. While it was a doe/spike hunt, we got to see a monster 10 pt. We hunted in "S" compartment, but think they have changed to number compartments now and don't know what number it is. Find a food source and you will find deer.

You will also see pigs - I went there on a TPWD sponsored feral hog hunt awhile back. Like everyplace else in east TX, it was overrun.
