im thinking about going hunting middle of the day-night. ive heard that this is good when the moon is out and since ill be busy with school and work this weekend. just wondering if anyone has had success with this. ill be bow hunting in the woods under no feeder just a trail.
im hoping with the pre rut going on that the deer will be moving.

Overcast and cold days will be best. I did see a fair amount of movement last week around 2pm.

I personally find that deer are more active during the middle of the day when there is a full moon.

I just came by my food plot & hay meadow about 3:30 and guess what was standing in the middle of it? A nice 130 8 point with a doe. He watched me as I idled by but never left the meadow. No, I did not have a gun just my bino's.
