Most the time you have to have a pedigree from AKC and it will show the cert numbers and what they were rated..Hard to know without them having papers...

So what do you expert lab owners think on the pups. How much do you think they should sell for. Remember they have to papers.

Sorry but you opened the door by asking. They should be free to a good home, a home that will promise to fix them so they can't breed. No papers no breed!! The male is a good looking dog and might be a very good retriever. The but comes in because of the papers. Registration is a tracking paper trail for all to see FOREVER. It helps keep the breed pure and helps a new owner decide if the desired gene is possible in the pup he is about to buy is present. Worth by a proven gene history which is free of genetic defects in the hips eyes elbows ect. It also is nice to know what the history of hunt test and field trials. This does not mean you will get a good animal if his history has ribbon after ribbon. It does help. Wellcome to the forum, I aint trying to rag on you but that is the truth.

Free
I think you are in a money losing deal since you have to pay vet bills for the pups and get them de-wormed, dewclaws removed, etc. Maybe you can get $50 each.
Good Luck

You could probably get $50 a pup and sell all 13 if you do what TexasEd wrote; dewclaws removed, shots, wormed. I would not think you should not expect much more than that. A good quality pup from registered dogs with proven pedigrees will run $300 and on up, depending on the papers and other variables. I paid $350 6 years ago for my male.
