I was at the right place at the right time on Saturday evening. This buck showed up in the brush for a few minutes and then decided to head out. He never would step out to give me a good view. There was a small opening he had to cross and i'll be darn if he didn't stop to stretch and give me a shot in that small opening. It didnt take me long to decide I needed to take aim.I let the 25-06 send down the 117 sst and he ran about 25 yards. This buck was 195lbs on the hoof.
