Saw a very nice looking Uberti Cattleman Single Action 45LC in nickel with pearl grips at a pawnbroker today. It was priced at $539 but I was told that I could have it for $400 plus tax. Anybody here have any experience with them?

I had one a few years ago, nice looking gun but the spring that operates the cylinder stop kept breaking so I switched to the Ruger vaquero and never looked back.

what exactly are they good for?
i've always wondered about that and those new taurus circuit judges
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
