Anybody have any experiance with this store.? I am in need of some service on an older gun and was told this was the place to take it too.

Any advise would be appreciated.

I have never been impressed with either place. At one time Elk Castle had two gunsmiths, one was good the other not so much. I havent been to either place in years so they may be better now.

If it's not an expensive gun they won't do jack. I took an old 22 in there, my first gun, they pretty much showed me the door with their answers. Then about six months ago I wanted a barrel swapped on a savage, they walked it in the back and came back in about 2 minutes they cameout and said they can't get the barrel loose.
