because I got my first bow kill this weekend and them there guns may not ever see the light of day again, nice mature doe walked in at 18 yards and the rage broadhead bled her out at 15 yards, thanks for all advice guys, the beast has awoken, the wifey better keep and eye on the bank account

Its an addiction and a passion, getting that close and making the shot. In the past two years, I've picked up the gun on opening weekend of gun season, hunted that weekend and then back to bow. Years ago, it was bow only, and that is probably going to be the way it is for now on. I just can't see the excitement in picking up the gun anymore.
I did buy a recurve this year and have gotten decent with it and plan on taking something this year with it.
