I have two feeders set up in hunt , one in caddo mills ,and one out by the old horse men's club in gville .
Not seening a lot of bucks ,but have plenty of does and fawns .

Very interesting...grew up in grown and live right off 66 in royse city..never knew there to be many deer in hunt co.....cool

when I was younger you could hunt in Hunt county on public land, now its all bought up by developers and the like

There is type 2 land on the west sideof the bridges by Boles Home. Archery and shotgun I think. Also by Wind Point Park is some type 2 that has lots of deer and turkeys. Many years ago, a 26 point non-typical was shot in Alligator Bottoms off of Hwy 36 between Quinlan and Caddo Mills. Was the state big buck for that year. I used to hunt just west of Quinlan behindCullen Ranch, a game ranch and there were tons of deer on that property.

I shot my first trophy buck about 30 yards from the shore of lake Tawakoni back in the late 80's(first year of rifle hunting in Hunt cty)on a family place in west Tawakoni.Lot's of deer there and some real monsters.

Own land right on the sabine river right outside of Lone Oak. Some real good hunting!

Big deer out of Quinlan on 34.Us to hunt the fence next to the Cullen ranch.

I have been hunting east of Greenville and there's plenty of deer and hogs! Even seen a few turkeys....

Well I'm only 6 years into my hunting addiction. Never knew there was type 2 land so close......would u say there are many leases in hunt county?

Mostly private land. Not sure about leases, but you hardly ever see an ad for one in the paper. Feed store is always a good place to ask these questions.

No. But there are a few high fence places. And a couple day hunting places for hogs.
