I have a bunch of huge cows on my lease. They tend to leave a lot of cow pies in the yard and the walkway to our cabin. Is there any way to keep them away from the house without building a fence? Note: We do not have electricity.

Hot wire fence...solar charged...be the cheapest most effective way...just one strand.

Without building a fence? I guess you could build a wall...

I'd rather build a fence

Dont need elec. I used a battery operated fence charger for many years. Works great for small acreage.

We have the same problem. Every year right before deer season this farmers fence mysteriously gets a hole in it and all the cattle come and eat our plots and corn!!

See the donkey thread. I'm sure the same methods would work.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
