Friend of mine for the last 2 years just seeing bucks only no does any one have an answer. Seems crazy his Grandson just took a nice on this eve. He was telling me about just seeing bucks.

Nothing unusual about that. Especially before the rut. The young bucks run in groups then just before the rut they'll break up and run solo.
They'll move in on feeders and dominate them. If a doe wanders in it's like a single chick walking into a bar full of dudes. She'll get mobbed and pursued relentlessly. So does typically won't come to feeders that are overrun with bucks.
My last lease it was nothing to see 8-10 bucks for every doe. Chopper survey proved that there was actually a 1.5 doe to every buck ratio. You just didn't see 'em often.
Personally, i like it like that.
