My uncle gave me his bow he had for a couple of years because he upgraded to a Matthews. The bow he gave me is a PSE Whitetail Extreme and I started shooting it yesterday and it seems to be a pretty good bow. I was wondering your thoughts on the bow and if any input what I could do to make it better? Thanks!

Take it to your local pro shop and have them look at it. Too many variables with "opinions" about this and that....

PSE= Pull Shoot Explode
J/K, I shot a PSE for many years and killed lots of game with it. It should make you a good bow. Just fix it the way YOU like it.

You asked if there's a way you can make it better. The bow is the bow. But the bow belonged to your uncle, and now you. Unless you are really sure about the drawlength and how the bow is setup, take into your local proshop and ask them to measure you and make the bow match. Get them to help you tune it as well.
At this you will have made this bow better, and you'll enjoy shooting it more.

Thanks that is what i was asking about the draw length...its set at 29' but my arms arnt that long....thank you
