check out the new site at www.rwtrophyranchtx.com

These two bucks were killed on the same weekend and by the same hunter in October!

HOLY COW!

I am guessing $100k to kill 2 bucks that big.

Robert Williams is the GODFATHER of the deer business and we owe him for the genetics we see today.

The deer on the right is a GIANT.....I would take him any day over the buck on the left.

I agree. I'll take a 120 free range 8 point over a science experiment like those.

From an economical perspective, I can't imagine letting someone kill a breeder buck as big as either of those; especially the one on the right. I think both bucks are very nice. I don't have any moral or ethical reservations about the guys killing the deer. I don't care if they were high fenced, low fenced, no fenced, or penned. They are monster bucks.

Unlike many here, if one of them walked out in front of me on my lease, I'd drop the hammer. I can only assume that those who think the bucks are barf would let them walk rather than kill something so hideous.

i can appreciate them for what they are....deer breeding has gone from a 200 being huge to deer over 300 now.

I'm all for someone who wants to shoot one of those deer.

I don't find them attractive at all, I'd rather shoot a chocolate horned typical ten that scores 160 than one of those triple beam, white horn deer that looked like it came from a farm in iowa.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I don't figure I'll see either where I hunt so if I'm going to wish for a miracle, I'm wishing for a 300" miracle over a 160" miracle. Neither are going to happen so I might as well go big. grin

my neighbor has a bunch of 200 class breeder pen bucks running around on his ranch. if one jumps the fence into my place i'd shoot it just to keep from breeding.

Given the chance, and having the $$$$.......I'd drill em both.

And I'd laugh at all the guys poking fun at the rich guy blasting 300 inch deer.

I have to wear sunglasses into the woods, because the deer would recognize me, an just surrender with their hooves up.

How many times did you have to shake their feed bags?

How often does your feeder go off in a year? Assuming you use a feeder of course...

It's really funny to hear guys talk about different types of deer feeders they've used, their protein feeders, what game cameras they use (some linked to their cell phone via satellite), how they pass the boring hours sitting in a box watching said feeders, how they have pens around their feeders to keep out the undesirables, and then pridefully post pics of the trained deer they shot whilst playing some video game. Most only venture from their box long enough to look for a new place to put their box.

That makes them SO much better hunters than those just paying for a HF hunt. rofl

Wow, they are big. I would not especially want to shoot one, I just wish I had the money to do so.

Ok, so if there is no difference, why the high fence?

Some of you people on here crack me up! it is easy to poke fun at the guy spending 25K to shoot a 300" white tail when you are broke but dont tell me that if the cash didnt matter you would be there shooting away just to have a story to tell.

Keeps the work and money put into the herd in the fence from going over the fence to be shot by a neighbor or hit by a car. I hunt from a blind over a feeder usually, but for me and most others actually shooting a deer is a very small part of hunting. If I just wanted to shoot a deer I would not pay for a lease and just use all the money from the lease and everything that comes with it and go shoot a nice buck and some does one weekend. If someone wants to just go shoot something and has the money to do so, then by all means spend it on that 300 inch deer trained to come to that feeder. I shoot deer every year trained to come and do the same thing. Nice bucks

Right, so there is a big difference...and that was my only point. Peace
