That picture gives a totally different perspective. That is a huge deer. Really like that mass and width.

Which year is the mount from? You have 2 different years at least of pics of him with one in velvet and then another year in the pic with the manager holding him. What are his tine lengths in the mounted pic?

His beams were longest at 33/34 in the mount. He had more points the year in velvet. I think he scored better the year before he died.
Crazy story:
He had been bitten by a TICK which gave him a blood disease. We were unaware when we darted him to cut off his antlers. He died the next day. You have to cut off antlers of deer that big if there are other bucks in the pens next door. They will fight and kill each other thru the fence as well as tear the H*ll out of your pens.

good grief, why would you question the score on that giant. The man said it's a breeder buck, so not only does he know what it scored this year, but also last year, the year before, etc.

The man said it's a breeder buck, so not only does he know what it scored this year, but also last year, the year before, etc.  Yeah but it is a breeder doing the scoring and you know how they score.  Just like an outfitters score.  It is a tremedous buck but just need some numbers to put the score into perspective.
