Well it's special to me anyway. You guys might not think it's all that but I'll tell ya why it's so special. On February the 28th 1983 my Dad brought me two little bare root English Walnut trees that he found in a nursery in Tyler Texas while he was there visiting my Aunt. We planted those two trees the same day and then sadly on March 5th 1983 he passed away from a massive heart attack. A couple of years ago winds from a big storm split one of them and I had to cut that part of the tree off. In that part there was a small burled spot so I cut it off and put it in the shop to dry. Just recently I got around to making me a small knife and used the wood from that tree for the scales. I've made a lot of much better looking knives in my day but this one holds a special place in my heart and it will passed down when I'm gone and never be sold.

That's a good lookin knife with alot of meaning behind it. That story will be passed down along with the knife for a long time I'm sure. Maybe it will be a good luck charm for you!

Great knife and better story. Connections like that are what make some guns and knives special. They're a whole lot more than just wood and steel; they're connections to family and times long past.

I really like the profile of that one. I like it too, I really had to design the blade shape around the piece of wood that I had to work with. Thanks for the kind words guys.
