Bow only is my goal. I've got to say though that it depends on the deer------and the turkey. We help manage a ranch and the deer have to be thinned out.
 It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

I will be picking up the Rifle but only cause the only bow I have is a crossbow. Would let the rifle lay if I could still hunt with the crossbow till mid December.

True that was a brain fart....i guess i had been looking at the wording as saying crossbows are legal during Archery - Only season as being only available during archery season. Didnt make much sense and now i know why. As the saying goes...Usually the indians fault not the arrows.

I have never hunted with a bow. I have taken practice shots with one, with a friend of mine.But never been in a blind with a bow. You guys are getting me fired up about the rush, and adrenaline pumping madness. Gonna start to get serious about hunting with a bow.
