Its Savage ML10-II. Not using it yet, but I will soon. I have everthing ready to go, just need powder.

I am trying starting loads of 42 grains to 44 grains of Accurate 5744, or VihtaVouhri N110. It seems that those loads with the MMP Sabot and Hornady .452 XTP 250 using a winchester primer is working well for everyone, so that is what I going with first.

Stick to the powders and recommended loads in the owners manual. I use a CCI shotgun primer in front of 36 grains of IMR4227 with a 300 grain Hornady XTP bullet amd Magnum Research sabot. I could push it a little harder but 2000+ fps is enough for me. Sub 2 inch groups with some under an inch are the norm at 100 yards.
In the Savage 10MLII the weak link is the sabot, over load the gun and accuracy goes away. Load it on the edge on a day when it is 40 degrees and hunt with it in the sun on a day when the temps get hotter and you may loose your accuracy. Not due to a change in the powder or rifle but the sabot is plastic, heat directly effects the strength and durability.
I love mine, bought it the first year they were available and have never had a problem or misfire. I hunt with it all season,I know out to 200 yards if I do my part the rifle will put that big 300 grainer where it needs to be.

Quality knives made one at a time, 100% by my hand.
Backed for the duration of my useful life. No charge to re-sharpen any knife I have made with the exception of postage.
