Does my 8 yr. old have to have the $48 APH? I did a online search but couldn't seem to come up with anything.
Thanks

you may want to double check on the youth license.....the APH land is for specific public lands out of the book. if you're hunting those properties then NO he doesn't need one. Other than that I think the 7.00 youth license will do the trick for you. No federal stamp until 18 i think.....Just double check.

What about federal lands? That would apply to state lands, but does the fed require youth permits?
As an aside, do you know about the big youth hunt that is being held by Third Coast down near Bay City? Excellent opportunity to get your 8-yo out there! I think they are still taking kids. If interested, PM me and I'll check with the coordinator.
