I hunt just north of Vernon on the river and haven't had a chance to get out there to bow hunt yet!! Just curious to know if anybody is having any luck in that area? Plan on going this weekend!

You obviously don't know much about hardeman, foard, or wilbarger area!! I killed and 145 class 11 point last year and have a 13 point that will push 170 on my camera from late September this year

You obviously don't know much about hardeman, foard, or wilbarger area!! I killed and 145 class 11 point last year and have a 13 point that will push 170 on my camera from late September this year

I'm hunting on the north side of the river, near Elmer.
Bachelor groups are breaking up. The patterns that I've seen established over the last month or two are changing. Some different deer, a little more nocturnal lately.
Wheat that was planted just before the rain a couple of weeks ago is jut starting to come up. If you've got any of that, it's probably where you'll find em right now. They haven't seen much green of any kind in many months.
We didn't get enough rain to still have any or much standing anywhere anymore except for the river for now.
