Went on to my ranch this weekend, hopeing to bag a deer but things took a turn. About 7:30 my feeder goes off. 150 yards away i see movement on the other side of our newly plowed green field. I knew it wasnt a deer but couldnt distiguish between a yote, or a robert cat. So i decided to break out my newly aquired smart phone, in which i downloaded a "Varmit Call" application. i hit that thing, and this bob cat sprinted on a B line right at me. In disbelief, i hesitated to move, as he came closer, i kept my call on repeat and placed it in my pocket. he stopped 8 yards in front of me and placed on right in the left side of his chest.

For my first bow kill, id say it would have to be my most memorable kill yet. Super Pumped. Enjoy

I have the primos app downloaded but have only tried it to mess with squirrels in Kansas. Was wondering if it would work. Which app did you use?

Great first kill. There are alot of bow hunters that have been in the woods many years. That is awesome up

Im glad yall are enjoying this kill as much as I have.

The App is a free one i searched on my apps Market. I typed in "Coyote Hunting Calls", it was the first one that popped up by Pico Brothers. It has about 15 different sounds. Pretty legit sounding too. With an Aux hook up in a truck, its a redneck way for a cheap Varmit call hooked up through the speakers..in theory anyhow. I just got lucky enough to break it out first trip to the ranch since the download. One for one so far so its hard for me to complain. He would of hopped in the tripod with me if he could, Im not kiddin ya.

Nice, all you need to do is lip squeek, its free and you control it with no movement.

Very nice. I've killed a couple and missed a couple with a bow and the head on shot seems more successful to me. Broadside they seem to move too fast but head on when they flinch it's down and your still on them. Whats up with offset fletching?
