So, my wife found us 2 AKC black labs on the craigslist and got both of them. (without talking to me) I'm doing pretty good with their obedience training, but I'm astill having some trouble working with them at the same time. I've tried putting one in the kennel while I work with the other one but all they wanna do is be together. Any ideas? I live in Kansas and am looking for a trainer for hunting.

Keep them separated all the time so they bond to you, not each other. We train entire litters at a time. Breaking the 'pack mentality' for the other pups is always key to getting them to perform for the handler. The most effective method is a good amount of crate time, take them out and work 'em. They will begin to think of the drills as their big escape and chance to burn off some steam. At the same time, they will begin to think of you as their 'saving grace', so to speak. If they can keep each other entertained all day, you play a much lesser role and they've got no reason to try to please you.

What IronSpike said is the key. They need to bond with you. As long as you don't separate them, they are going to pay more attention to each other than they are to you.
