Does anyone have a clue as to what the largest deer killed with a recurve is?

Anything killed before the compound was in use that is listed in P&Y would be a leader but anything after that you would have to ask P&Y like Curtis stated.

Or, you may want to try Lone Star Bowhunters Association. They have a record system for Texas and they may be able to tell you more.

Just out of curiosity, do you have something spotted that you are going after? Also

I looked at LSBA record system - doesn't list what kind of bow was used. I could ask Bobby if it's in his records, but the Texas Typical with a bow was scored at 175 2/8, Grayson County, killed 11/07. Non-Typical is 219 2/8, Maverick County, killed 10/06.
