My buddy has a Benelli Legacy 20ga...shoots sweet. Shot M2 12ga before and they are great. But no reviews are this model from me....although with Benelli Semi autos I'd be willing to take a leap of faith and get one if I were in the market....they are just so solid it's hard to go wrong.
Dear Lord please bullwhip me for saying this but I agree, Marcstar is in the lead. Please nobody use this as a quote!!!

May need go rethink this, M2 doesn't appear to be available with a 28" barrel, which I like

That is my favorite gun that Benelli makes. I love my berettas but my girlfriend is having trouble with her 870 youth, I am planning on buying her a M2 20ga sometime this month. They are good guns for the most part. The only thing better is a Beretta 391 20ga.

I have one and love it. Shoot dove and quail with it, and occasionally some skeet and trap just for fun. i probably have 500-600 rounds through it and no mis-fires (knock on wood)...light recoil and always durable/dependable. I would definitely recommend it.
Is it duck season yet?

I have an M1 20ga and love it. Sweet shooting gun on decoying ducks. Dick's Sporting goods is running $100 off the M2's right now making them $899 IIRC.

Got one for my wife and both of us have had nothing but good reliable shoots every time. If switching from a heavier 12 ga you may need to work on adjusting your swing timing with his lighter gun. You shouldn't have any regrets!

I have one and use it for both doves and ducks. Outstanding gun.

Have had the M2 12 gauge for 3 seasons now. It's been pheasant and duck hunting in 20 degree weather. Cycled everything that has been put through it. So far so good.
 No bad days hunting
