My grandma is taking me on a hunt for my birthday looking for a place to go that has some trophy fallow or axis maybe. Since my grandma is going were looking for a place with a nice lodge with amenities. Cause shell be hanging out there reading or whatever while I'm out hunting. We've been looking at v-bharre and Morino river ranch. Any other suggestions? Oh price range needs to be under 3,000 for fallow and around 2,000 with lodge. Thanks

Rattle Snake Springs Ranch all the way! The place has amazing animals to include massive fallow and axis! I've hunted on allot of ranches in Texas but none have the lodging and trophy animals like rattle snake springs has. Get in touch with Robert he will take care of you and make sure you take a book animal. Look the ranch name up on a goggle search to get contact info.

For axis look up the ria chuelo ranch it is first class all the way tons of axis and you get to shoot a trophy and all the does you want $2000. The house is awesome and they will take care of the food to. You can find them in the exotic section it has pics to. There are a lot of big 30 + in axis on there place

I agree with Darrack, Chuelo Ranch is an awesome place to hunt and would be a real nice place for your Grandma to just hand out at.
There are two kinds of people in this world, those who believe they can and those who believe they can't. They are both correct.

I would highly recommend a place just north west of Jacksboro, TX. where I took my family hunting a couple of times. It is called Squaw Mountain Ranch. They have a fantastic lodge, great accomodations and even nicer folks to hunt with. We have taken some prize exotics there and I know they have some huge fallow right now and some monster axis. Here is a link to their web page, call Keith Wieser @ 214-769-3151. I promise you, you wll both have a great time and see plenty of trophy animals. http://squawmountainwhitetails.com/

Not sure if you have made a decision or maybe already gone to hunt a fallow, but if not we have a ranch north of brownwood with some absolute giant fallow! Give us a call or email.
