What would be your next step if the dog had tucked tail and hit the dog house.
I'm only asking this question because what works for one dog doesn't work for all dogs. Personally, I would have given the dog away and got one without issues. Just like horses, there are too many good ones to fool with outlaws and there are too many good dogs to spend time and money on one that has issues.

There are people that feel that way. Then there are the ones that want to fix the problem that they most likely caused with the dog.

My puppies are here to stay. I've had soft problems and bad tails, but I've never had a pointer that did not hold his own while hunting with other bird dogs.

I won't be kicking him to the curb. Going out today to work some more birds. I'm going to introduce the 22 from a distance and see what kind of reaction he gives.
