several doe came to the feeder, didnt see any bucks, deer look good, numbers down a little but things seem better than i thought, creek did good on our place and held water year round, alot more hunters out since the crossbow rule came out, hey new guy next door, dont pee next to the feeder when get out of the stand

Where ya at in Runnels, we are just south of Winters. We aren't the "new guy" that peed either! LOL!

Broken, you and I are pretty close, I hunt NW of Norton and I can see Oak Creek from several of my blinds. There are good deer in the area. Hunt hard till Thanksgiving then start looking for safe havens and midday movement. Most does are bred in this area between October 10 and November 20. Good luck. Ron www.twistedwillowhunts.com

Hey we are in Coleman and saw plenty of deer. Saw 8 bucks sunday night but not the big 10 on the trail cam!!!
