Columbia makes great hunting boots and hiking boots

I like my Rocky boots, both the zip up snake and regular thinsulate boots for cold weather.

Irish Setters by Redwing, most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I have tried other brands, but been wearing Irish Setter brand since early 70's and they are GREAT!!

Columbia for a hiking style boot.
Danner for a taller hunting boot or snake boot.

Danner, Irish setter's and columbia's are all great boots.

Have two pair of Rockys and really like them. I would be very reluctant to mail order any boot as some manufacturers fit is not always the same as anothers of the same size. Have heard nothing but good stuff about Irish Setters and Danners.

I have a pair of Danners that I like, and two pair from Bass Pro that I like. I also just splurged and got a pair of Courtney Selous made out of Cape Buffalo hide and they are awesome!
