Looks to me like a grandfather and his grand kids running coondogs. They are obviously just passing through and not thieves. I don't see a weapon. What's the problem if they are respectful of your property/fences and gates and the dogs are not running off game such as deer.
I would rather see young people out in the woods chasing coons with their grandpa than running the streets doing drugs and stealing. Of course I'm not that guy from Dallas with 20 acres either. I would rather see young people out in the woods chasing coons with their grandpa too...I would rather see grandpa teach the young people to respect other people and their property though.

Really are you serious? Is it okay if I go in your house, as long as I am just passing through? Do you own land? If so mind if I come and pass through it? If you don't mind post directions.

I guess you don't mind people climbing your fence and cutting through your yard as long as they are respectful?! If they climb or go through your fence without permission,I doubt they know much about respect! I guess respect is different in Azle.

From what I've read on other posts it seems to be a trend that several people on this forum think just because they may be running dogs that it's perfectly fine.
Dogs or no dogs, when you are crossing or going onto someone elses property and don't have permission it is trespassing, and if you can't keep your dogs from crossing fences you need to have them on a leash.

The problem is with people who dont ask permission and go onto property that doesnt belong to them, and nothing is done about it, then they tell all their friends and then you have tons of people on your property. I also believe in getting kids in the outdoors but there is a wront way and a right way

They should each get 100 lashes and be sentenced to three months of hard labor.

If they were running dogs and they came onto my property.....they would be leaving with a bunch of dead dogs.

If they don't respect trespass laws, what makes you think the respect game laws. Kinda like people saying most illegals are good people just trying to make a living. Except they didn't respect the country's laws to get here, Why would they respect them after they settle in. All trespassers are the same in my book: criminals. Be it my house, my back yard, my deer lease, or my country.

I never said it was ok that they were there. I was just stating that they were probably running hogs with dogs by looking at how they are dressed. If they don't have permission then they should not be there.

wow some real toughuns out there. Shooting someones coon dawg and holding them at gunpoint.. WOW.
Guys i have never been coon hunting prolly never will but you let coon dogs loose lets say you have 1000 acres coon dogs gets after a coon he may go for miles (having had friends and family that do it) Guess you should probably shoot there dogs. Prolly tie up the kids maybe whip the grandad, hit em with the butt of your gun a few times etc.
That way they know never to chase their dog on your property again.
Bunch a real tough guys.

I don't think they're coon hunters if they are the same group who was caught setting fires. If they are the fire starters they should be burned.... Just sayin'...

It amazes me that some folks try to justify trespassing . Unless you own half a county maybe running dogs is one of those things that unfortunately is outdated . I know that there was a day that it was acceptable but it just ain't going to fly now crossing boundaries .

When I was growing up, my grandpa taught me to respect and obey "no trespassing" and "private property" signs. Period. Trespassing is trespassing, no matter how you try to justify it.
