Let us bowhunters come together and create a packing list for going into the field this season. Just add what you think, include the odd things we may not think of.
Bow (duh) Arrows broadheads target (for sight check) Release Clothing scent spray Knives for processing License and hunter ed card Zip Ties for tags...

Never thought of this... What are you shooting that at? Let me ask this. If you could only take your bow, hunting license and one other item, what would it be? I've got mine, want to see what everyone else thinks just to pass this slow week.

Good answer. I was assuming the bow had a quiver full of arrows attached. But, you did state the most important thing with information I gave.

Flashlight, rangefinder and T-paper. Everything else can be left in the truck.

I've got mine, want to see what everyone else thinks just to pass this slow week. Two reasons I use a sling shot... First to shoot cows away from the feeder or if they get to close, second, if any non-shooter animal beds down under my Tree or next to my blind so I can pop them out of there and climb down without being seen. If i could take only one other.... Assuming arrows are in the quiver.... I would take a camel back.... I get the shakes if I don't drink lots of water.

I think I may take a sling shot out with me this year. I have one that never gets used. Main thing I'm thinking they could be used for is squirrels. Seems like when everything gets quiet and still, one of them comes down the tree I'm in and starts barking.

I usually have an old arrow, with a blunt tip, with me for these instances. The sling shot does sound like a good idea for the cows though.
