How is everyone's South zone opener going so far?
I have had over 30 limits killed out of my fields since Friday morning. Im looking forward to taking some guys out this evening and posting pictures tonight.

MY group cancelled this evening. If anyone is around Kingsville and would like to hunt I will take you out for $40 a gun. Yesterday I was knocking them out of the sky as fast as I could shoot. There are plenty of birds!

We had 32 limits this weekend. Probably would have been another 6 limits this evening but the guys cancelled. I haven't seen this many birds in years.

Yes, I have never seen this many birds. I counted 64 in one mesquite tree and the powerlines around one of my fields was stacked with birds. Im anxious to see what this next weekends shoots are like!

I hunted Uvalde with some friends and we all got limits Friday and Saturday.

I got 8 and 7 sat and sun evening hunts, 12 and 17 for the group those two days.


We are very low on birds this year.

We killed 5 man limits Friday, Sat and Sunday at our Dimmit County Ranch, each hunt took around 30 min. Lotta Birds

Only took 9 birds in 2 days, just So.of SanAntonio.
However, we 'supplemented' that with about 200lbs of 'fresh pork' ! happy3 food woot
We roasted the smallest one on the smoker right there in camp, for dinner . . . grill
