Just becase you have an airboat and hunt the same dam spot every weekend doesn't entitle you to hunt anywhere you please. And to think young hunters were with you, great job big guy.

Here it is in a nutshell....public water is public water. You can either deal with the bs that sometimes ensues or you can cry about it and it still ain't gonna change things. I've had more than my share of fanboat bs back in the late 90's on Somerville. Had 2 choices...quit hunting there or roll with it and keep scouring the lake for better tucked away areas. In the end, the fanboats were banned by TP&W and life went on. it ain't the fanboat that is the issue. Rather the cat running it. Most I know are cool, respective cats and some just don't give a damn. But playing devils advocate for just a minute, fan boats many times cannot see your spread until it is too late. Alot of unintentional **** happens. If you hunt a lake or river where fanboats are known to run, you gotta expect anything can happen, intentional or not. If fanboats get under your skin that much, I suggest finding another lake river to hunt cuznthey got just as much right to be on that body of water as the outboarders and mud rig guys.
Moral of this story is public is public and ain't ever gonna change....

Rick I agree 100%. "Most I know are cool, respective cats and some just don't give a damn." The ones that don't give a dam and teach others to behave this way are wrong in every way. I bet the youths on his boat think this is the right way to do things.

I agree 100% also. I run a mud rig & can go just about anywhere I want to, but that doesn't mean I do. Bottom line, it don't matter if it's in an outboard, mud boat, or airboat, a douche bag is a douche bag. You can either be a part of the problem, or a part of the solution.

Moral of this story is public is public and ain't ever gonna change.... That may be true but we as hunters need to remember that we are our Biggest fans and also our worst enemy. So the crazy sh.t thats going on out there needs to change or its not going to be hunting season but all out WAR.Theres a phrase 'TAKE A KID HUNTING TODAY SO YOU DONT HAVE TO HUNT FOR THEM TOMORROW' Well these kids now days wont put up with half the sh.t we put up with, so if they go through later what we go through now, man it will be alot of bodys in the woods. Sounds over the top I know but think about it for a while. THINGS NEED TO CHANGE

Man 30yrds from ya? that had to be pretty damn loud, but if it were me getting disrespected like that I dont care how many guys it was I would have got deep in some bodys [censored] we all got guns out there. I hope you are kidding with that. A duck is not something to get killed over.

Naw I'm not saying I would shoot someone GUY,But the way the story was told at first he made it seem like he was being bulldog around out there and what I was saying was I would have went up to the guy for doing that with no fear.

Muddy...I agree and jwaltz is teaching kids it is fine to go teal hunting at 8am, run over decoys, park close to others and everyone else has to deal with it because he hunts there every day.
That's the problem...it ain't the kids fault it is the irresponsible adults teaching kids that is how you hunt.
