No question, some our longest (and unfortunately, shortest) friendships are with the people with whom we hunt.

EXCLUDING FAMILY MEMBERS AND RELATIVES, what is your longest running hunting friendship.

I have a friend with whom I have been hunting for 23 years now.

Me and DoubleDrop14 have been hunting together since we were 8, so that'll be 18 years this season.

Been hunting with my dad for 20 years

Been hunting with my best friend since we were 15, so I guess that would be 26 years, usually hunt about 30-35 days out of the season together.

Been hunting with my best friend for about 22years, he just moved to panhandle. Gonna miss him this year

I have 3 friends I have been hunting with for 18 years now. Been hunting with my Dad for close to 50 yrs now but that does not count in this thread.

I have never been on a seasoned hunting lease with friends, only family. I have been hunting with my best friend off an on at his place my place and a couple invite places in between for 6 years. Been hunting with my dad since I was pretty young, about 20 years, cant beat the time I have spent in the blind with my dad brother, and yes even mother, shot my first deer and buck with my mom due to dad hunting with my older brother.

Me & my hunting buddy have been running around since 3rd grade. We are 38 now.

Been hunting with my best friend since we were in 5th grade. In high school we got him written into the lease as a family member so we didn't have to worry about extra politics. I'm 26 now.

Been hunting with my best friend since I was in the 5th grade. No animal was safe when we got together. That would make it 28 years of hunting together. Wow, how time flies.

Man, how awesome is this.. LOVE IT.. My buddy and I have been hunting together for right at 21 years.. Plus he just smoked his biggest hog last night with a recurve.. I think I was more excited than he was!!

Been hunting with my closest friend for 46 years now. We grew up together from age 2. Started hunting together at age 8.

My dad and I have been hunting together since I was 10. I'm 56 now, so that would be 46 years worth of some of the finest experiences I can remember.

Hunted with my Dad for about 40 years until year before last when he had to stop hunting, Sure miss hunting with him. Been hunting with several over 30 years now when in Mississippi. Texas hunting partners 23 years since I first met that great friend

Really jeolous of yall. Most of my friends have either quit hunting due to cost or have moved out of state. I enjoyed them when they were hunting but now spend most of my hunting with nephews or for the past 15 years

Lost my buddy to cancer last year that I hunted with for 31 years. This season will be quite different.

My best buddy and I have hunted together for 33 years. Here's to the next 33.

My brother, my best friend and I started hunting together in 1962. We moved to a different lease in 1963 and my friend and I still hunt that lease. Three generations of the same family.
A German family in the hill country. My brother hunted thru the 2006 deer season and killed 2 good buck at age 79 that year. He passed away in March 2007. If my math is correct this year will be the 50th year.

All the men who I hunted with as a kid have since passed away. However, the memories will stay with me forever.

When I turned 9 years old, my father gave me an H&R Plainsman .22 rifle for my birthday, and off we went rabbit hunting. We've hunted every year since. I am now 59, and my Dad is 79 and still going strong.

That would be 50 years, I believe, and I still have and shoot the little .22.

Been hunting with Rahma on the board for 25yrs. We grew up together duck/dove hunting in Collin Co. Duck hunting Richland Chambers when it was getting built...WAY before it ever filled up...in the late 80's early 90's.

We have been on several leases together and even hunted public a few years when we were cheap. This year hunt 4 miles apart on diffrent leases. Great Friend!

I guess its relative ive hunted with jkskinner since I was 11 Im 24 now so more than half my life

I still hunt with my high school buddies,going on 35 years or so.This past february one of our guys had a massive heart attack and died unexpectedly.He was extremely athletic and built like a brick outhouse,just a terrible loss.About a week ago I was getting a haircut and left my phone in the truck.I came out and noticed I had a missed call.1 message,it was My buddy Rick who died saying"hey Mike just wanted to make sure you made it home alright and had a great time this weekend".It was a message from 2 years ago after a hunt in Real cty.It kinda freaked me out.My messages go away after 40 days but not this one.I seriously think he was contacting me from above.It was great to hear his voice again but sad also.
