Any body ever eaten there? I went to Amarillo for the first time this past weekend and saw signs for 100's of miles I mean they had signs all the way down in Alamagordo, NM! I saw on man vs. food also. My mouth was watering the whole time thinking about it. I get there and it's a little touristy but ok.....I'm going with it. Well....long story short...was below average meal and I thought they would at least know how to make a good steak. I had the 18oz ribeye and it was horrible...tasted of a old grill that you cooked with last summer and never cleaned it and my wife and kids had the 18oz sirloins and they might as well been on the back of a horse with stirrups they were so tough. Any one else have a good/bad experience?

Spend your money on some old beef jerky! Just as tough but without the flavor! $100 dollar meal had me feeling suckered...

Here is a pic of 4 guys trying to do the deed. They got real uncomfortable on a stage eating with a bout 80 people staring, taking video and pictures.

I used to live in Amarillo and nobody from Amarillo eats there. That should tell you something. Tried it one time and the steak I had was tough and tasteless.

We ate there once, 10 years ago. I don't recall it being bad. I thought we would stop in again next time we go through that area, but maybe not.

we ate there about 4 years ago. didn't have the courage to try the challenge because it was on the stage and i'm sure city girl here would have had quite the audience staring her down.i ordered a sirloin and though it was mighty tasty. not the best i've ever had but definitely not the worst either...
