I know at Crockett during general season, you can hunt does in the Alabama Creek WMA by doe permit only. What about other areas outside of Alabama Creek during archery season? I may be going in the next few weekends and wondering if we can hunt does while we are there, or are stuck with spikes and bucks?

It's my understanding the restrictions on taking doe in the Davy Crockett are the same for all seasons. By permit only, and only in the Alabama Creek WMA.

And I'm sure now is the time to get your name thrown in the hat for one of those permits.

For the General Season yes, but not for the Archery Only Season or for the Muzzleloader Only Season, you can harvest them withe tags off your license.
