Traded my .223 Savage for a Model 70 Rem Mag with a Simmons 3-9, all original. I did the webbed stock myself, added a Wotac 4-14X50 and took it to our place in Bowie to shoot it. The target picture is my last 6 shots at 125 yards. It is one shooting SOB so far.

That exact gun was my first rifle. It was always good to me.

Nice job on the stock. I like that look.

Wife lost her credit card. Noticed the charges were less, so I didn't bother to report it.

Thanks, I have a real fondness for Winchester Model 70's, I have several. This one is going to be my new Terrell county spot and stalker., it's pretty dang light.

It was sad to give up my only Savage though after defending them for the last few months!

I used Krylon fusion paint for a base, Krylon "webbing" paint and then about 4 coats of flat clear over it all. I have done a couple of others, I used a lighter base color on this one, it looks a bit different. Thanks for the comments, I appreciate it.

Gun looks great and being a shooter doesn't hurt either. Good job.
