Hadn't been there in a while. Anyone willing to share? Trying to get some reports before I head out with my son and see "No Ducks". Don't lie - tell the truth. Ducks or not? Thanks

I was not duck hunting, but from what I saw over the days I was up there deer hunting, there were ducks in the area, but a lot of the ponds on the Grasslands have gotten fairly low again.

Arter all the rain we had this past spring, many of the ponds I saw were low with few ducks on them.

Now with the front coming in I am sure it has pushed a bunch of ducks into the area.

One pond that I did see that is not on the Grasslands, did have some ducks, mostly widgeon and gadwall, with a few mallards mixed in.

Hope that helps you out.

Check out this link, it's not that old, but I would think it should give you an idea of what would be out in the Grasslands.

Timster,
Be careful, a good friend that solely deer hunts the grasslands told me are a LOT of deer hunters out there this week. Might put some orange on your son during the walk to and from. Wish you luck.
