I had to take my windsheild off because of the dust. Going to put a rear window in before I put the windshield back.

I have a mule with over 2000 hours forgot what year it is to be honest. It is tough as nails. I hunt out near Bracketville and finally upraded to a Ranger Crew. It rides like a limosuine compared to the mule. So we call it the limo. LOL! They are both great rides. You can find some really good prices on mules. It might be a good first side by side for someone. Mine has 2000 hours and it runs well. It might be a 1999 model 2010. I really do like the steel bed compared to the ranger but the suspension and length of the ranger are tops. Good luck on your purchase.

I like my Ranger over the Mule I had! Suspension is way better on the Ranger.
No problems with 1000 of Corn and 6 people. I just had to upgrade the stock shocks and a 2" lift kit. Nailed it, exactly what I did. Awesome machine

I rode on an old Mule the other day, unsure of the year. I kinda liked it except the pedals were to close for a tall guy. How much better of a ride are the new ones compared to old?
Are there lifts? Ground clearance is good

The new ones don't ride any better, the older ones may ride a little better because the springs soften up slightly over the years from use.
2" lift kit is about $130 but they do not add to the suspension travel. Taller tires will add to ground clearance but they change the effective gear ratio.
Depends on which model you're talking about.
610 and 610 xc have 3.1" of suspension travel. 610 xc = 8.1" ground clearance. 610= 6.7" ground clearance. 4010 = 7" ground clearance, susp travel front = 3.9" rear= 2.8".
Most golf carts have more ground clearance and susp travel, all ride far better.
We tried a 610xc last weekend, there isn't a skid plate protecting the cooling fan. A twig 3' feet long and about as big around as a mans thumb laying in a gravel road broke the plastic fan blades.

Why don't you put the feeder at the bottom of the hill.
