I use one, and yes, they are good. When properly tuned, they can increase your arrow speed, dramatically in some cases, and in many cases improve your accuracy by compensating for your mistakes. For example, if you tend to torque your bow when shooting, a drop away can make your bow a little more forgiving.

With all the drop aways available today, I'm not saying this is true with each one. I've been using the Trophy Taker for about 2 years now, and I've been happy with it. I noticed a significant increase in my arrow speed and accuracy right from the start.

i use a trophy ridge dropzone and i will never go back to any other rest. it has improved my accuracy and arrow flight. being the rest falls away, there is no contact from the passing arrow, which i always had problems with on other rests. made tuning the bow a snap.

I made the switch to a Trophy Ridge Drop Zone rest and love it. I hear a lot about the Trophy Taker drop away rest and that its pretty good as well. I haven't had one break while in field or at any other time. It seems to work really well and the pro shop had it set up on my bow in just a few minutes. After shooting three arrows he made two adjustments and then I was dead on at 20 yards in less than 15 minutes.

Any problems with the drop zone rest hitting your hand? A buddy of mine has one, and so far, that's been his only complaint.

I just put the new fall away from vital bow gear on my bow and it is awesome. A breeze to tune and 0 effect on your arrow. I have shot alot of fall away's and can highly recommend this one!

I love a dropaway rest I started with a tropphy taker and liked it but then it started ratteling for some reason, I tried every thing and coulden't make it stop. I still think they are great rests, but I just switched to a quick tune drop away to see how they work and realy like it is super quite, withch makes me happy.

The only way I can imagine a drop away rest hitting your hand would be if your talking about the cord that attaches from the rest to the bow string or the cable slide. What is his attached to?

I have never had this problem before but I can see how someone may if the did not put it together right.

It must not be a big problem if he's still using it and has not fixed it.

Curtis, I don't know what the problem is. He bought it as soon as it first came out, and had a friend of mine who owns an archery shop set it up. It was the first one that he put on a bow, but said that it worked real well.

Dropped my Mighty Mite off at the pro shop for him to install a Ripcord rest once they come in again. He sold the last one in camo right when I got there so to make sure I get the next one my bow is there waiting.

I switched to a fall away rest after last season. I am shooting tighter groups with it. I have tried 4 or 5 other rests and always had fletching clearance problems or they were too noisy. The fall away is awsome.
