So, being archers, we all have our favorite bows. I do to. I LOVE Mathews bows. As long as i am paying for a bow I will probly only shoot a mathews. Now if any other company wants to GIVE me a bow, then i feel i could learn to love it. the bad side i see is the enimosity of the "Mathews" guys to the "Bowtech" Guys or "Hoyt" to "PSE" ect... you get the point.

When people on here ask what is the best bow to buy, i often dont respond because i have my preference, but i can honestly say...
"Every bow manufacturer that makes a bow for the current archer has a cutting edge, game changer somewhere. I would like to take my hat off to all the Bow companies out there and say that they all have great products, and i couldnt have picked a better sport to be involved in."

Its because of the stiff competetion that he have the best equipment that can be produced year to year. I hope that i am not alone in this venture and others will chime in and give there thoughts on the great "Brand Battle."

I shoot what I can hit with...and my first bow...so it works well for me!Bows are like females...not the best but the best that I can do.I have very little experience with other brands other than the one I shoot but would give any of them a try and understand with time I would become acustom to the differences.

I can find good on most bows and bad in all bows, what works is what works for you. If you think you have the best bow in the world, just waith till next season, they will come out with a better one. For those that HAVE to have the best, they are constantly buying a new bow each year.
Been there done that, thank god most of the time being sponsored I got new bows without paying for them. Trust me in the long run, I earned everyone of those bows with all the shoots and events I had to work.

This^^^
Irks me when people respond with "unless you buy X-brand of bow you are buying junk"...pleeeeaase. I have only purchased Pro-series bows for a number of years from quite a few different companies but I am continually amazed at the quality/shootability of box store bows these days.

I'm not a big time bowhunter, my knowledge of rifles and shotguns is infinatly greater than that of bows.

However, I did test a number of bows this year before I made my purchase, I picked out several in the price range I wanted to spend and shot them all.

I can say out of the price point i had picked out (at or under $500) that the diamond stud I bought was the best. I shot martin, bear, pse and hoyt and the diamond was the best combonation of speed, quietness and weight.

buddy bought a destroyer 350 the same day and is tickled pink with it. however, my friend picked up a bowlogic(which i've never heard of) at a garage sale for $250 and it shoots quiter and faster than mine and almost as fast as the destroyer.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I'm not a single cam back wall fan on any brand.

But will say if you own a binary cam bow, and you start to not get a long with it.

Let redneck booda tune it... just got my elite back and its a dream to shoot again
