Alright fellas-

Soooo, I have an opportunity knocking on the door of the store (see my signature line) and I need to make a decision to take it or pass.

I have come across the chance to purchase a large quantity of NEW AND UNPRIMED brass. Of course, there is a catch. If I choose to take this deal, I have to order a minimum of three calibers... I can order MORE than three but that is the minimum.

So, the question is, what THREE calibers would you pick? Maybe FOUR or FIVE? I'd like to be able to provide the brass to my fellow reloaders for a savings and just need to know what THREE (or more) calibers are wanted...

AND FYI, when I say large quantity, I mean I will be getting upwards of 5,000pcs of brass PER CALIBER. I don't want to get stuck with 5,000pcs of 500 nitro when someone only needed 20 so keep that in mind. This offer is for the reloaders who need/want a large quantity of brass. The pricing will be VERY competitive... I should be able to beat any prices anywhere.

Anyway, please provide your opinions here and I will to get what is the most popular.

I think 30-06 and 308 would be two good ones.

Definitely .308, maybe some .223 if it's a good brand, also 7-08 or .243? I'd personally like to see some .260, but you may not sell that much.

Might try a group buy in the classifieds. Keep us updated on the outcome. cheers

.308 Win
.223 Rem
.22-250 Rem
.243 Win
.204 Ruger
.30-06 Springfield
.270 Win
7mm Rem Mag
.300 Win Mag

These are not what I load, just what I think would be the best movers.

Pistol calibers too, huh?

I don't know how much 9mm brass is sold, but it's the most abandoned brass I see at the range where I shoot. Maybe it would be worth stocking, but I just don't think so. For handgun, I would suggest:

.38 Special
.357 Mag
.40 S&W
.44 Mag
.45 Colt
.45 ACP

That list didn't take much thought at all.

RiverRider-

Thanks for your input. I was thinking the same calibers as well but wanted to see which one was the most popular by taking a consensus from the group. I was thinking:

223
308
45ACP
40SW

Just trying to get a large reply so I know I'm not going to be stuck with over 5000pcs of 40SW brass...

Due to all these AR guys at the range, once fired .223 brass is dirt cheap. I might be in for some harder to find brass like 6.5x55 but sure, you might not sell that to too many others. I have plenty of .308 brass to make .260 but for the right price I might consider that as well.

38 special or .357 mag
.45LC
.308
.30-06 or .270

shouldn't have any problem getting rid of those.

9mm, .40 SW, .223 and a few others are readily available once fired range pick-up. The list above are the ones I usually buy new brass for.

3rd vote on .260 but even if we buy 2-3 hundred each that still leaves you with alot of brass.

I'd start with these three and see how it sells.

.308
30.06
.40 S&W

Do an internet search for the best selling reloading dies. They used to list the top 10 on occasion in the various magazines I'd read. That would be a good start.
