Does anyone have any feedback on the canon SC6040 48gun wide body safe at costco for 799? On a whim I just bought it. It was a plus that it comes with free shipping...

I have another cannon American eagle 30gun safe and I have loved it plus the cannon support has been great. Last year the lock got a few numbers off and they replaced it for free.

Just wondering if anyone had see/used this model and had any feedback. I have not seen it on person but since my current safe is beyond full I thought it was a good buy, but who knows... the most major negative i see is it only has a 30minute fire rating.

Also any feedback on the power/usb/network ports in the safe? I love the idea of a network drive in the safe to backup my pictures/data too and not having to remember to put it in the safe.

I saw that one, almost had the same whim. Best of luck to you, I think it looks great. I believe the fire rating is not the highest available, but for the price it is not a factor; just lucky to have one at all for that money. I think you made a great choice.

I have the 36 gun wide body and love it, because I can fit all my shorter rifles on the top shelf along with handguns on the door so I was able to maintain one whole side for storage of ammunition, lap-tops, and other valuables when I'm not home.
