Since Oklahoma legalized crossbows I've been shopping for one and finally decided on the nex Carbon Express Covert CX2 crossbow. I shot a few others but ended up buying the CX2. I am 6'6" with a 6'8" wingspan and really liked the extended buttpad to extend the LOP and the tactical grip in front of the foregrip has an incredible feel to it. I also purchased the HHA Optimizer and installed it when I assembled the bow.

The bow itself is a breeze to assemble, but the HHA Optimizer required some custom shims in order to fasten to the stock rail(too narrow).

I've made quite a few shots with it now over the past 2 weeks and over all I am real happy with the new bow. It took 3 shots to zero it at 20 yards, and I have it sighted in all the way out to 60 yards. I have had to replace the serving, but other than that it has been no problems. I can't wait to shoot it out to 80 yards. Can't wait for October 1st!!!
