Buying my license on line. Getting the super combo. Rifle, bow, turkey, dove and fishing. Going to be hunting the public land around Quinlin(?), so need to get the public hunting licenses as well and don't know how it is listed or where it is listed on line. Can someone help me out please

I think last year the dove hunting was listed sepreate " I think". Was it the HIP?

It's the Annual Permit for Hunting (APH) and is listed with "other permits" I think is the category. And, yes, you can buy it online. $48. Buy it and TPW will send you a book with all the public hunting areas, including dove areas.

You do have to be HIP certified to dove hunt. Just make sure you check that box when you purchase your license. It will just ask you how many dove you killed last year and ducks. Sorry, I forgot: the HIP is a survey that must be completed for last year. It cost nothing and the survey is online also. If you want to hunt birds this year, add the HIP to your purchase.
