If I'm posting this in the wrong place please move it. I have Winchester 308 Model 88 and it has an old wiever K4 and it's really time for an upgrade. I wear glasses I'm far sited and I'm able to wear my glasses with some scopes but with others like the wiever I just can't making longer shots impossible. I was thinking about the Leopold 3x9x40 riffleman QD manager. Let me know what ya'll think I really like the price and the reviews I've read so far but am up to suggestions. Thanks

I have a Leupold Rifleman and I really like it. Great scope for the money. Bass Pro has them on sale right now. Can't go wrong with a Leupold.

Depends on your budget - I just bought a new Vortex which has had great reviews and is priced right. Bought is for same reason you are looking at. If it ever gets below 100 degrees around here I look forward to shooting with it before November Check out the deals at Cameralandny.com. Hard to say anything bad about Leoupold - just hate paying for the name but its a good product. I have a new Redfield on my muzzleloader that I love - Leopold owns them - check out the 4x12X40 with the dead hold reticle??? (one with the holdover hash marks. It is a fantastic scope that I would buy over the Leopold to save some bucks.

Take a look at Nikon You can get a 3x9 40 mm for around $150. My dad bought one a year ago and that is what he paid at Gander Mountain. It is a very clear scope he is 80 and is shooting P Dogs at 300 yds with it

Vortex wont be a bad way to go. I have them on the majority of my rifles ranging from the Diamondback line to a Razor HD. I love them all. Waranty work is going to be about the same Vortex's customer service is absolutely awesome. Either leupold or Vortex are awesome choices.

I would like the leupy rifleman allot more if it didn't have 1/2 inch adjustments (clicks).
