few friends of mine hunt there and have done very well lately.Lots of greenheads and divers.They hunt far up north.

I hunted alone up there last week. I shot 5 birds and all of them were banded. 4 mallard drakes all with 100 dollar reward bands and a banded pintail drake for my kicker.

sorry, all the mallards were double banded...I was so excited I forgot to mention it...I mean heck, I did it one day at Ray Bob and then did it again this AM at Bardwell

I hunted the dam today. They were flying high so we had to get on top of it. When they flew over we could get em down.
Game warden said something about them being water turkeys we had... I never seen a turkey fly.
I did not have my turkey stamp I guess so we got a ticket,and he took my turkeys.

I have hunted it 5 times so far this year and got limits everytime. I have also gottun 6 bands so far on 2 hunts. Hunt the south end and you should get at least one banded bird have not heard of any on teh north end yet. Hope this helps ya out a little bit more.

Lots of greenheads on the south end. I leave my spead out all season long , you more than welcome to hunt over it.
