talked with the man that has our farm leased northwest of Dodge City, he is buying hay in the northern part of the state, has been rain north of the Smokey Hill river north of Dighton, that would probably be lots better than the southwest part, as it will be poor hunting

I drove through Kansas last weekend almost top to bottom. Northeast KS is about as green as it gets. If the south can get rain soon it'll be ok for the season. It doesn't take much for those birds to survive and pheasants are pretty resilient birds anyways. I'll hunt the northern portion early in and then go south later in the season.

have you hunted pheasant in N.E. Ks. before?
