Lots of strong opinions against Rage but I shoot them and have had better luck than with the ones I used to use (NAP and Muzzy). Until I something catastrophic happens to change my mind it's Rage all the way.

I shot Thunderheads for years, took dozens of hogs and a few deer with them
This season I'm 'all in' with the Slick Trick Magnum. The reviews are amazing, and shooting them out to 30 yards, they fly just like my field points.
There is no mechanical gadgetry to fail, or go wonky at an inopportune time, and they leave huge holes in game that leak a ton of blood.(Google Slick Trick exit wounds and check out the images)

the rage two blade is by far the best broadhead you can shoot. the three blade leaves a flap from the hide that keeps alot of blood in. the two blade looks like a rpg hit it and blood everywhere. i will see if i can find a pic i shot this doe and could almost put my fist in the hole.

I shoot the Rage 2 Blade and have never lost an animal using them....and I've lost count of how many that I've dispatched with them and of those, the majority have expired well within 100 yards and left blood trails that ANYONE could follow. They are a devestating broadhead. The ONLY draw back would be stalking with them as the blades can disengage if you bump limbs or brush so I would not recomend them for that style of hunting. A friend gave me a Grim Reaper head last season that I put on a "Pig Arrow" that I carry in my quiver and I used it on small 50 pounder and it blew thru him like butter and had him down and out in about 60 yards. Bottom line is they are both great heads (as well as Slick Trick if you want to go "fixed"). I'll stick with the 2 Blade Rage though cause if it ain't broke...don't fix it. Just a few 2 Blade Rage victims....

Ive shot a ton of stuff with the Rage. No malfunctions, stuff falls in sight, massive bloodtrails, blah blah blah...... Think I am gonna untune my bow and shoot a crappy broadhead so my dog will actually get some work in this deer season.

I shoot Grim Reapers but you test both and which ever one does better for you is the winner. What ever gives you confidence is the winner.

I have never been a big fan of mechanicals but I bought some of the Grim Reaper 3 blade broadheads and shot some critters with them. The over the top mechanicals just take too much penetration out, but I bought the Rage 2 blade and have shot several hogs and deer with them and watched everything I've shot fall. I like them so much I thought I would try the 3 blade Rage and see how they did and they are junk. If you're going to shoot a mechanical the Rage 2 blade is the only way to go.

Grim reaper fan here. I seen what rages can do. I also hear alot of issues with them. I've never had an issue and they make nasty holes. search my name for some grim reaper carnage. And check www.broadheadtalk.com

I am a Rage fan but I have been lured in by the hype of the GR's. I know several guys who shoot them and they love them. I may buy a pack this year and give them a whirl but I have also been debating on going back to a fixed blade, like the Slick Trick or Montec CS.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

If you watched that video I posted, the Rage wont even penetrate the 55 gallon steel drum, and almost, if not all of the others have no trouble. The Grim reapers are messed up after passing through, but they make a very good exit hole on the back side of the drum. Also, when they test the blade opening test on a melon, all 3 blades on the Grim Reaper open, and both the 75 gr and 100 gr go through the drum and come out the other side, and all 3 blades open when shot through the drum. With the Rage 3 blade, only 2 blades open on the Melon Test, and the Rage cannot even fully penetrate the front side of the drum.
If the grim reaper will do what it does to a steel drum, it will have no problem zipping through the deer even if it hits a bone. I have never lost a deer with a grim reaper. IMO, if you are trying to choose between the Rage and the Grim Reaper, the Grim Reaper wins hands down.
